Uninstall on Windows

Sign out, remove the app and, if you like, its data.

1. Reset your location

If Pinmist is simulating, press Reset location so your iPhone goes back to its real location.

2. Sign out (optional)

In Pinmist, open Settings › Account and choose Sign out. You do not have to: signing in on another computer signs this PC out, and you can also sign it out from your account page.

3. Remove the app

Close Pinmist. Open Settings › Apps › Installed apps (on Windows 10, Settings › Apps › Apps & features), find Pinmist and choose Uninstall.

4. Remove Pinmist's data (optional)

Your settings, bookmarks, history and sign-in details stay on the PC in case you reinstall. To remove them as well, type %APPDATA% into the File Explorer address bar and delete the com.pinmist.desktop folder. Then do the same for %LOCALAPPDATA%.

5. Apple's device support (optional)

If you installed the Apple Devices app only for Pinmist, you can uninstall it the same way. Keep it if you use it for anything else.

6. Tidy up your iPhone (optional)

  • Turn off Settings › Privacy & Security › Developer Mode if you no longer need it.
  • To make your iPhone forget every computer it trusts, choose Settings › General › Transfer or Reset iPhone › Reset › Reset Location & Privacy. This also resets the location permissions you have given apps.

Uninstalling Pinmist does not cancel your subscription. To cancel, choose Manage billing on your account page.
